Flock camera destroyed in Granite Falls amid growing local criticism

GRANITE FALLS, Wash. — A Flock camera was destroyed Tuesday morning in Granite Falls, according to the Granite Falls Police Department.

The department said the camera was mounted at the intersection of Quarry and Mountain Loop Highway in Granite Falls, and officers are still recovering parts of it as evidence.

According to the department, officers are investigating the case but have no suspect.

The event comes as Flock has drawn national and local criticism, prompting several local Washington cities to ban its use by law enforcement altogether.
