Happy Friday Eve! The large area of low pressure offshore, yes, the old but extremely weakened version of a tropical storm, continues to spin some moisture over the area. We are drying out, but there are still a few showers around the Northwest Interior of Western Washington. Our chances for t-storms technically is still around, but the chances are very low now and will continue to lower and eventually end this morning. Most of the area is dry now and will be all day. Just don’t be surprised if you have a brief and isolated shower early.
Air quality is much better than yesterday and will keep getting better, with mainly elevated haze. It’s mostly cloudy early and will turn partly cloudy this afternoon with much cooler temps in the upper-70s and lower-80s.
Expect morning clouds and then afternoon sun on Friday with temps warming slightly in the upper-70s and mid-80s.
The weekend forecast involves a trough of low pressure swinging through the region with more clouds, cooler highs in the 60s to mid-70s and a few isolated showers Saturday and Sunday.
Expect a mainly dry forecast next week with highs near 80.
